COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT

Cognitive abilities provide the foundation for our students’ educational program. Working within each student’s zone of proximal development, our staff creates individual and group activities that enhance the cognitive skills of our students. Examples of the concepts we address include: object permanence; cause and effect; joint attention; imitation; and one to one correspondence.
