INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PROGRAM (IEP) PRESENTATIONS

At the annual I.E.P. meeting teachers create a multi-media presentation of the student engaged in his/her daily routines. This presentation allows the staff to supplement their accounts of the student’s progress. Pictures and video are taken of the student in therapies, pre-vocational work, social events, and other classroom experiences thereby giving those in attendance a greater understanding of the progress that is being reported. It is our intention to demystify for parents what and how their youngster is learning and how these activities can be carried over at home.
