PRE-VOCATIONAL & LIFE SKILLS

We understand that working gives one a sense of purpose and believe that our students are no exception. Students engage in a variety of job activities that reinforce their I.E.P. objectives and are modified to meet their individual needs and learning goals. These goals, such as reaching, placing, sorting, and sequencing, are embedded in vocational tasks that are both useful and age-appropriate. Their school-related jobs may include mail delivery, packaging, laundry service, stocking, and recycling. We design these jobs to prepare our students with skills that will transfer to their After-22 Programs.
